We could not have asked for a better real estate agent than Shannon. My wife and I very much wanted to buy a home for our growing family. We were out of state, and unfamiliar with the area. We had a tight budget, very specific needs, and a tight timetable. Shannon delivered! She was calming, informative, always available and flexible. We bought sight unseen via FaceTime. And we trusted Shannon. Once the bid was accepted she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful navigating first time home buyers through the stressful closing process. I would highly recommend Shannon Della Fortuna - she's a FANTASTIC Realtor! She contacted me immediately when I reached out to her about listing my home. We had a few unique situations - COVID-19, the location of our home & my wheelchair/house bound Mother-in-law was living with us. Shannon had no issue with one of us staying at the house during showings in the event of an emergency. The virtual staging of my home was so amazing! She kept in constant contact with us from start to finish. Shannon made the whole process go so smoothly and we closed on our home in a little more than a month! After closing, I realized we had left behind a name plaque under the front porch that my Grandfather had made for his home in Yonkers, N.Y. many years ago. It doesn't look like much, but it meant a lot to me. She promised to get in touch with the other realtor & would retrieve it after one of the many snowstorms had melted & thawed. To my surprise, she shipped it to my new address out of state! Shannon truly cares about her clients - you won't be disappointed!

It is hard to explain in words just how grateful we are that Shannon was our agent when we purchased our first home.

She knows the area she services like the back of her hand. She keeps a close eye on the market so she knows how to make your offer stand out. She calls the listing agent before submitting an offer to help you tailor your offer to be desirable to the sellers. She always answers her phone, no matter how late it is or where she is. She is patient and never pushes. She is great with kids.

But the two things that really stand out to me about Shannon are her honesty and her willingness to go the extra mile for her clients.

First, she is honest about everything. Even when it is hard to hear. For example, she gave us a strong warning against putting in an offer on a home that she knew was a bad value. That level of honesty helps you make a good long-term decision.

Second, she goes the extra mile for her clients. One day, when I was eight months pregnant, my car's battery died at a lunch showing. She literally ran from house to house for a half hour to find someone who could jump my car. I have many more examples of her selflessness, but this one really sums everything up. She will go to the ends of the earth for her clients, and you will never regret hiring her.

Shannon was such a breath of fresh air! We are so grateful that we had her as a resource in finding our first home! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and is a straight shooter. You know what you’re getting with Shannon and you know she truly has your best interest in mind. I would recommend her to anyone, without hesitation. Shannon was very helpful through out our home buying process. She listened to the specifications we gave her and then showed us homes in the areas we wanted to see and within our budgets. She answered any question we asked her and she was always prompt in replies and as helpful as possible.
